How Will I Know I Have a Brain Injury?

A doctor can diagnose a brain injury by observing you and possibly ordering a CT Scan to look at the brain. Generally, doctors will diagnose a concussion or other traumatic brain injury by asking you questions about the accident and whether you blacked out, while also testing your reflexes and mental acuity.

If a doctor suspects that you are bleeding in the brain or have a blood clot, then imagining tests will be performed on the brain.
